Sweet with a creamy mouthfeel, Anthony Vasquez’s micro-lot brings together strawberry, milk chocolate and crème caramel. It had us thinking about strawberry wafer biscuits right away.
Anthony is a fourth-generation producer working with his family at Finca El Morito and gaining recognition for his processing work. He grows several varieties on the farm, but this lot is all Bourbon.
Roasted for espresso and filter, it works well both ways. It complements milk-based coffees, while black coffees let the strawberry notes shine.
